Customer Stories

Customer had a hazardous Red Maple tree behind his house with a nasty seam in the stem and rot at the root flare. It was overhanging his outdoor fire pit/hangout area and lawn space. Equipment access was very limited due to the terrain. There was insufficient space to drop the entire tree. I had to go up the tree and rig (cut and lower on ropes) it out in pieces small enough to fit the drop zone. Customer wanted to keep the firewood so we cut it to length and made an orderly pile for him. He also did not want to kill the bushes etc. under the tree as they provided screening. Tree came out with 0 property damage. Customer was wicked psyched.

Working with Cook Tree Care was great. I got a few bids , but once I talked to Cook’s, I decided to move forward with them really quickly. The prices were reasonable and the best part is since he a certified arborist , they are not there just to cut down trees. So when I asked about the health of a tree and whether we should keep it or cut it, he can give an educated option and direction vs “yes I can cut it down whatever you want”. Also amazing to watch, since they can use a bucket truck or climb the tree, and they even are good about not freaking out as you watch them do their work.
